When performing breast lift surgery, our Denver plastic surgeon will make incisions around the nipple (“areola”), vertically down to the breast crease, and then horizontally in the fold of the breast. Dr. Zwiebel will then trim and remove excess skin below the breast, followed by repositioning of the nipples to a more elevated position. After your surgery, you may experience temporary bruising, swelling, loss of feeling in the breasts or nipples, and scarring.
Littleton, Denver, and Colorado Springs breast lift patients who would also like to increase the size of their breasts may also wish to combine breast augmentation (“augmentation mammaplasty”) with their procedure. If you decide to undergo a breast lift with implants, you will achieve a fuller, more feminine breast contour while lifting the breasts to a more youthful location on the chest wall.
